There aren't many downsides to living in Vero Beach, but one of them might be that there are just too many good restaurants to choose from! And if you are at all adventurous, you can always find a new place to try.
But it's well worth remembering the tried and true restaurant options - like Citron Bistro. Whether you're looking for dinner, lunch, or weekend brunch, Citron is a sure-fire winner. Reviews consistently mention the terrific food, beautiful presentation, and inviting staff as well as the relaxing outdoor dining and the nearby noteworthy boutiques.
Garden of Esther is proud to be on their main menu and the most recent dish offered by Chef Tibor was yet another reason why.
This is our spinach linguine nestled under clams, shrimp, and exotic mushrooms and topped with a clam veloute. (For those of you thinking about a dictionary right now, veloute is a classic French sauce which begins with butter, flour, and stock; veloute means "velvety.")
And although we promise that our pasta can be tasty and delicious prepared simply at home by anyone who can boil water, we also love when our pasta gets dressed up - thank you Citron Bistro!
Citron regularly offers inventive preparations of GoE pasta. If you visited back in October, you had the chance to try their Seafood Diablo: sauteed jumbo shrimp and scallops with spicy marinara over GoE fresh pepperoncini pasta:
Citron Bistro has it all - rave-worthy food, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, convenient location . . . and Garden of Esther fresh pasta!
So if you haven't been in a while, it's time to head back. You'll be so glad you did.
